The Massachusetts Keystone Project

Keystone Refresher Workshops

Each fall, we host a refresher course for Keystone Cooperators. The reunions are held to help Keystone Cooperators stay current with forest conservation information and resources. The refreshers also offer the opportunity to connect with fellow cooperators, share experiences, and learn from each other.

Keystone Refreshers typically offer an opportunity for informal networking and an invited speaker(s) in the morning indoor session followed by an afternoon field trip. Keystone Cooperators are welcome to participate in the entire reunion or can choose to come for either the morning or afternoon session. Topics covered in past reunions have included: control of invasive/exotic species, grassland management, developing old-growth characteristics, developing early successional habitat, and pitch pine ecosystems.
